Kjoler købt online?

Vores datter, Mille, har altid været min mands øjesten, og da hun er vores eneste barn, har han haft en tendens til at overforkæle hende. Jeg har forsøgt at holde igen for pigens skyld, og det er egentlig også lykkedes, for når alt kommer til alt, er min mand ganske fornuftig og kan godt selv se, at hun ikke har godt af at få alt, hvad hun peger på.

Og nu skal Mille snart konfirmeres. Allerede for over et år siden kom min mand med en bemærkning om, at i forbindelse med konfirmationen, ville han altså bare ikke vise tilbageholdenhed. Mille skulle have lov til at få det tøj og så videre, som hun drømte om. Det gav vi så hinanden håndslag på. Og om vi skulle tage et ekstra boliglån for at betale – ja så ville vi gøre det!

Det er længe siden, at Mille begyndte at snakke om det tøj, hun gerne ville konfirmeres i. Hun har hele tiden gjort sig klart, at hun vil have en kjole på til selve konfirmationen, men den skal under ingen omstændigheder være hvid, for det er en farve, der ikke klæder hende særligt godt, fordi hun er meget lys i huden.

Hun har flittigt studeret forskellige kjoler i en lang række webshops, men mest for at få ideer, for hun er ikke i tvivl om, at hun vil have den specielle oplevelse, det vil være for hende, at prøve nogle flotte festkjoler i en rigtig butik.

Og i lørdags var det så alvor. Vi havde aftalt, at vi skulle tage i byen og se på konfirmationstøj til hende. I den forretning, Mille selv havde udvalgt, gjorde en meget imødekommende ekspeditrice det fra en start klart, at vi skulle over i afdelingen for dametøj, for Mille er en ret høj pige og ganske veludviklet af sin alder, så det er damestørrelser, der er relevante for hende.

Vi fik først forevist et stort stativ med nogle særdeles elegante kjoler, hvoraf nogle var så flotte, at jeg vil betegne dem som de rene gallakjoler. Dem kunne Mille slet ikke stå for, og selv om der var tale om tårnhøje priser, var der ingen protester fra min mands side – det havde han jo også gjort klart fra en start.

Mille udpegede en kjole, som hun gerne ville prøve, men så var der pludselig protester fra min mand. Den er alt for udringet, slog han fast, og jeg kunne ikke lade være med at grine lidt af ham, for det er i hvert fald kun, når det gælder hans egen datter, at han har noget imod nedringede kjoler.

Men det endte med, at Mille fik sin vilje, for kjolen var helt perfekt til hende, hvilket min mand med et dybt suk også måtte indrømme.

Der skulle også købes andendagstøj til Mille, og til det brug var hun på forhånd i tvivl om, hvorvidt det skulle være lange bukser og en top, eller om hun også ville have kjole på den dag. Ekspeditricen viste os nogle meget smarte sommerkjoler, og det endte med, at Mille valgte en af dem i en flot, bordeauxrød farve.

  1. Det virker lige i overkanten at låne penge for at opfylde jeres piges drømme, men jeg må jo indrømme jeg synes det er flot af jer. Vores datter er knap 2 år, vi gør det, at vi allerede nu spare sammen til konfirmation, så bliver det på ingen måder en uoverskuelig udgift 🙂
