Når børnene skal underholdes i haven

For langt de fleste forældre i dag, kan det være et problem at underholde sine børn. Nogle få vil måske tænke, at det slet ikke burde være forældrenes ansvar eller pligt at underholde børnene, men i dagens samfund er det desværre ofte tilfældet.

Det er blandt andet også derfor vi ser flere og flere unge sidde foran enten fjernsynet eller computeren det meste af dagen. Dette går både ud over deres fysik, men også udover deres mentale indlæring.

Hvad underholder forældre med?

Udover at mange forældre giver deres børn TV på værelset, en Wii eller en bærbar computer med spil, så prøver nogle få heldigvis også at få børnene udenfor og lege.

Engang var det helt naturligt at man byggede huler og kravlede i træer, men i dag skal der gerne redskaber til for at børnene synes at det er sjovt.

Heldigvis er der som sommeren en del legehuse på tilbud og derfor vælger mange forældre at købe et mindre eller større hus der kan stå i haven.

Er det stor nok og bliver kammeraterne misundelige, så skal det nok blive brugt, men ellers kan mange børn hurtigt miste interessen.

Lidt sjovere er det hvis man kan få legehuset eller hytten sat op i et træ, for så er det både lidt hemmeligt, lidt farligt og også lidt mere privat. Forældrene kommer ikke lige forbi og ser hvad man laver.

Trampoliner er et stor hit

TrampolinEn af de ting som på det seneste har vundet meget frem er de store trampoliner man kan have stående i haven. Nogen vælger at grave dem ned så man ikke rigtig kan se dem, mens andre vælger at lade dem stå på jorden så de er nemmere at flytte rundt med.

Udover at trampoliner er sjove, så er de også farlige og derfor er det meget vigtigt, at man køber en god kvalitet og sørger for, at få sikkerhedsudstyr med. Her tænker jeg blandt andet på at der bliver købt sider til trampolinen, så børnene ikke kan falde ud over siden.

Derudover er det meget vigtigt, at man lærer sine børn at det er et farligt legetøj og at man ikke sloges eller på anden måde skubber til hinanden så nogen falder ud over. Der er mange børn der hvert eneste år brækker, arme, ben og håndled ved skader der er sket på trampoliner rundt omkring i villahaverne.

Forældre bør deltage

Nu lyder det måske ovenstående som om børn skal kunne klare sig selv, men det er slet ikke hvad jeg mener. Det er vigtigt, at børn har samvær med deres forældre og at forældrene deltager i børnenes leg fra tid til anden.

Det vigtige er blot, at børnene både kan lege selv og med sine forældre. Desværre kan de fleste i dag ikke lege selv og mange forældre har ikke tid til at lege med deres børn og derfor ender det hele i fjernsyn, computer eller andre former for passiv aktivitet.

Heldigvis er der flere og flere forældre der er opmærksomme på problemet i dag, så vi kan håbe, at fremtiden kommer til at se lidt lysere ud.
